1:55 p.m.: Meteorologist Cindy McClure was going to Starbucks to grab some coffee before voting this afternoon at Fellowship Masonic Lodge 265, 306 N. Lincoln Ave.
Then she remembered she could get free coffee after voting, so she held off on grabbing the java.
Turns out, it took less time to vote than it would have taken to get a cup of joe.
"There was no line here at all," says McClure, 35. "I walked right in. This is the first time that's ever happened to me. There was a longer line at Starbucks for free coffee."
McClure voted for Barack Obama.
"I think he has the better chance of changing our current political situtation," she says.
She also supports his stances on health care and the war in Iraq.
