Ohio Polling Place Located In Building Named 'Barack'

COLUMBUS, Ohio - There's something awfully familiar about the name on a polling place on the south side of Columbus.
Precinct presiding judge Hattie Harris says the rec center was dedicated in 1964 in honor of a former city recreation director who pronounced his last name BARE-ick.
But it's spelled the same way as the first name of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
Harris had already heard about that from one person Tuesday morning and said she didn't need to be reminded, thank you.
She said things were going smoothly at the Barack (BAYR'-ihk) Recreation Center with lines not nearly as long as they were in 2004.
