10:23 a.m. Most people pulling into the lot at the Boy Scouts of America Gulf Ridge building parked and quickly paced inside.
Activity was sparse.
But Walter Jones stood by his car wearing an Obama shirt and checking his cell phone. Waiting.
"I voted by absentee last week," Jones said.
Today he was on vacation from a job at Raymond James in St. Petersburg. "I volunteered to drive people to polls for the Democratic Party."
From the party affiliation and the T-shirt, it was not difficult to decide the candidate most of his passengers supported.
