7:50 a.m.: Fifteen roving tech teams are awaiting calls at the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office on Falkenburg Road in case any of the county precincts report trouble. But so far this morning all has gone smoothly.
It must be a good day to stand in line. The only calls received so far have been questions from clerks doing an election for the first time, said Supervisor of Elections spokeswoman Mia McCormick.
By 7:30 a.m., 40 people had dropped absentee ballots at a side entrance to the office, and an untold number of others already have stuffed a ballot box at the main entrance.
