10:29 a.m.:At Seminole Heights Baptist Church, Thomas Spencer, a 62-year-old artist, says he spent a lot of time in the booth reading the amendments.
"I had to kind of think about what they really meant," he says.
He voted no to Amendment 2, which says marriage should be between one man and one woman.
"Ain't none of my business," he says.
Spencer didn't need as much time to vote for president.
He voted for Barack Obama.
"I hit 60, and I realized we needed somebody younger," he says. "We need some new blood."
