Trouble Near The End Of The Alphabet In Tampa Palms

11:25 a.m.: It doesn't pay to be an "S" at precinct 359 in Tampa Palms. As I stand in line waiting for my turn to vote, I watch people whose last names begin with M, H and J dash past me.
It seems there are nothing but problems in the P-S line, where people have shown up to the wrong polling place or without identification. Still, I should consider myself lucky. I'm told my half-hour wait is good and that the line was three times as long this morning at 7 a.m.
And one more piece of voting advice: Don't forget to fill out both sides of the ballot sheets. Several people have had to get out of the optical scanner line because they realized at the last minute they didn't fill out their ballot completely.
