Tampa's SRI Surgical Nears Profitability

Tampa's SRI Surgical came closer to posting a quarterly profit as the company restructured its finances.
A provider of reusable and disposable surgical supplies to hospitals in 19 states, SRI posted revenue of $24 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30. That's up about 3.5 percent from the same quarter a year before.
Net losses were $173,000, compared with a loss of $645,000 the same quarter a year before.
