Two armed men fired handguns several times and took money Friday from the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, 10597 U.S. 19, Pinellas Park police say.
About 5:49 p.m., the men entered the bank, fired silver guns and vaulted a barrier to the teller area, where they took money and left, a Pinellas Park news release states. No one was injured.
Police say the men likely ran to a nearby car.
The men are black, in their 20s and have medium builds, police say.
One is 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall and wore black clothing covering his arms and legs, white sneakers, a black hat with red stitching on the brim and a white bandanna. His shirt has "an Egyptian symbol resembling a pharaoh on the font," according to the release.
The other is of average height and wore dark pants, blue sneakers with white trim and a baggy white polo shirt with thin horizontal black stripes. A black and white bandanna covered his face.
Those with information about the case can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 873-TIPS.
