Pasco County government offices, courts, community centers and libraries will be closed Tuesday for Veterans Day.

Other schedule changes are:

•County recreation complexes will be open Tuesday, operating on a holiday schedule from 1 to 9 p.m.

•The tax collector's office will be closed Tuesday.

•The Pasco County Animal Services Shelter will be closed Tuesday. Animal services officers will be on 24-hour emergency standby. The shelter will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

•Pasco County Public Transportation will provide fixed-route service for west and east Pasco on Tuesday. Call (727) 834-3322 or (352) 521-4587.

•The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility and the east Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public Tuesday, but open to commercial haulers.

•Government offices in Dade City, San Antonio, St. Leo, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey and Port Richey will be closed Tuesday.
