ARMWOOD ... 48 MIDDLETON ... 3

THE DIFFERENCE: Tavari Grant scored three touchdowns untouched as the Hawks running game blew past Middleton and sealed Armwood's second-straight undefeated season.

GAME NOTES: The Hawks defense smothered the Tigers throughout much of the game. After a Brandon Hickman sack on the Tigers first offensive play the Hawks got on the board early with a safety after the ball was snapped out of the back of the end zone. ... Grant scored on three straight Hawks possessions from 5, 19 and 30 yards. ... After the third touchdown the Hawks recovered an onside kick and scored on a tip-drill touchdown from Mywan Jackson off the hands of Tigers' defender Phillip Jones (who already had an interception in the game) into the hands of Armwood's Rob Jones.

STAT OF THE GAME: Armwood held the Tigers to just 12 yards of offense in the first half.

QUOTE OF THE GAME: "We should be totally excited about being 10-0 but we are at a point right now as a program where our goals are a little bit high. That makes it tough on 16 and 17-year old kids who want to be happy. We are built for 15 games and this was the regular season, but we always say the real season starts two weeks from now." - Armwood coach Sean Callahan
