THE DIFFERENCE: On the first play of triple overtime Jesuit scored on a 10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan James to wide receiver Erick McGriff. With the Tigers up 32-25 the pressure fell on Kathleen to send the game into a fourth overtime. After Kathleen quarterback Isaac O'Neal threw three incompletions the Red Devils were faced with 4th and goal. The ball was snapped and O'Neal completed the pass to wide receiver Marcus Cunningham but he was wrapped up at the 1-yard line to seal the victory for Jesuit.

GAME NOTES: With the score tied 15-15 at the end of the fourth quarter, Jesuit and Kathleen went into overtime. Both teams traded field goals in the first overtime and then traded touchdowns in the second overtime. ... Jesuit was able to score enough points to force overtime after a bad Kathleen snap during a punt attempt in the fourth quarter. Kathleen turned the ball over and gave Jesuit great field position on the 34-yard line. ... Four plays later the Tigers scored on a 10-yard touchdown pass from James to John Plasencia. The pair then connected again for the two-point conversion that put Jesuit up 15-12 and was able to hold Kathleen to a field goal to settle the game in overtime.
