THE DIFFERENCE: Josiah Johnson was a workhorse, rushing for 193 yards on 28 attempts, scoring two TDs and leading the Bulls to their first win of the season on homecoming night.
GAME NOTES: Sunlake was trailing 24-14 before a Brian Adams 33-yard TD catch from Tommy Valez made the score 24-20 with just under two minutes left in the game. The extra point was blocked by Travis Duffey, but the Seahawks recovered an onside kick. Two plays later, Blake Burch intercepted a Valez pass and returned it 52 yards for a TD to put the Bulls ahead 30-20. ... Following a missed extra point, Sunlake put together a drive, aided by Bulls penalties, that was capped by a 5-yard TD pass from Valez to Adams. ... Valez finished with three TDs, on seven of 21 passes for 135 yards.
STAT OF THE GAME: Wiregrass Ranch was aided by Burch's interception return for a TD as well as a nifty 86-yard kickoff return for a TD by Robert Tirbene.
