GAINESVILLE - A University of Florida fraternity is being investigated for alleged hazing.
According to a University Police report, authorities founded Tau Epsilon Phi pledges on their knees in the fraternity's basement.
Fraternity members are now accused of forcing pledges to eat laxatives, having parts of their bodies submerged in water, dumping food on them and making the pledges do exercises.
UF's director of student conduct and conflict resolution said the organization has been given an interim suspension.
