Leavitt Not Right Coach

I watched the USF-Cincinnati football game and saw exactly what I have come to expect from the USF administration, coaches and players. I firmly believe Jim Leavitt is not the proper coach to take this program to the next level. For years, it has been impossible to know which version of this team will show up each week. Until the administration holds the coaches and players accountable for their lack of proper preparation, this program will continue to be a big disappointment. I wish I had a job that would pay $1 million a year and allow me to perform at the mediocre level I see from this head coach each week. The symptoms stand out like a neon light bulb, but no one seems to want to do anything about it. This could have been a breakout year, because they have the talent.

Future Looks Dim For USF

I'm really concerned about my Bulls. I don't see any offensive players who are significantly better than they were as freshmen. Matt Grothe has regressed. I'm beginning to think USF would be better off without him. The future is not bright. The Big East is terrible this year, and the Bulls already have three losses.

Rays Should Be Proud

Many people in our area were rooting for Tampa Bay to win the World Series. I'm an Indians fan, but I probably was as happy as the Rays when they beat the Red Sox for the American League pennant. They should be proud of what they accomplished. They seem like a great bunch of guys.
