TAMPA - A man is accused of beating up his 14-year-old stepdaughter because he was "enraged" that she accidentally injured his son, an affidavit states.
Cristobal Guerrero-Rodriguez, 36, of Tampa was held on $2,000 bail today at the Orient Road Jail, records show.
Tampa police on Sunday charged Guerrero-Rodriguez in connection with an incident Thursday. According to an affidavit, Guerrero-Rodriguez grabbed the 14-year-old by her hair, dragged her on the floor and punched, slapped and kicked her head after his son was injured.
The affidavit does not say how old Guerrero-Rodriguez's son is or how the boy was hurt; it notes that the girl accidentally injured him.
The girl suffered bumps and bruises on her face and head, the affidavit states.
