GAINESVILLE - After a relatively slow start to the season, QB Tim Tebow again is establishing himself as one of college football's dominant players.
Tebow has accounted for 14 touchdowns in his past three games, pushing his season total to 27 (17 passing, 10 rushing). Tebow appears to have regained his status as the premier rushing quarterback in the nation; he had 88 yards and two scores on the ground in Saturday's victory over Vanderbilt.
"He's back," OL Mike Pouncey said. "He's back to the Tim Tebow we're used to."
Many questioned whether the pressure Tebow faced entering the season as the first sophomore to take home the Heisman Trophy affected his start.
"I think so," Pouncey said, "because there's a lot of hype on somebody and we haven't even played one game yet at the beginning of the season."
INJURY UPDATE: OL Carl Johnson was limited in practice, but he is expected to be ready for Saturday's game against South Carolina. Johnson did not play Saturday against Vanderbilt.
