Gas prices at a few locations in Central Florida have dipped below $2 a gallon, according to gasbuddy.com, which tracks the lowest and highest fuel prices in markets nationwide.
One gas station in Wesley Chapel is charging $1.99 a gallon, according to the Web site. In Orlando, a handful of gas stations are selling fuel for less than $2 a gallon.
In the Tampa Bay area, a gallon of regular unleaded is averaging $2.19, down from a high of $4.01 on July 16, according to AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
The cheapest gas is in Tulsa, Okla., where prices are averaging $1.84 a gallon.
