TAMPA - Officers and agents who will scan vehicles around Raymond James Stadium during Super Bowl week are training on X-ray imaging equipment this morning to spot explosives and other contraband.
The training starts at 9 a.m. at the Tampa Port Authority.
The agencies participating are U.S. Customs and Border Protection; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; FBI; Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Tampa Police Department, State Fire Marshal's office and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
The Super Bowl will be played Feb. 1 at the stadium.
