TAMPA - The foundation for John Graziano, the former Marine severely injured in 2007 when a car driven by Nick Bollea, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, slammed into a tree will hold a fundraising event Friday night.
The event will start at 8 p.m. at the Passion Night Club in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Fort Lauderdale.
There will be an open bar from 9 to 11 p.m.
Graziano has been hospitalized since the crash with serious brain injuries and will need constant care. His foundation is called the John Graziano Foundation Inc.
In March, his guardian filed a lawsuit against Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and Bollea's estranged wife, Linda. The suit also names Nick Bollea.
Nick Bollea, now 18, was sentenced to eight months in jail for the accident that he escaped without serious injury.
