Hillsborough Deputies Find Pot Growing In Closet

Hillsborough County deputies searching Cory Cannon's home Wednesday in Valrico found 54 marijuana plants growing in a closet.
Cannon was arrested at 11:30 p.m.
The plants had a lighting system with a timer, as well as a ventilation system and a thermometer, a criminal arrest affidavit states. Deputies also say they found pots, scales, bags and tins.
Cannon, 21, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a house for manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail was set at $6,500.
