THE DIFFERENCE: East Bay RB Chaz Burrows took over in the second half. Burrows carried 12 times for 96 yards after the break, including a 39-yard carry and the clinching touchdown on an 11-yard run late in the fourth quarter. He finished with 113 yards on the night.
GAME NOTES: East Bay QB Fred Porter completed his first pass of the game for 42 yards after completing no passes last week against Freedom. ... With under four minutes left in the first half, Spoto couldn't get off an attempted rugby punt on fourth-and-15, turning the ball over at its own 11. ... East Bay kicker Forrest Meredith missed a 22-yard field goal that would have given the Indians the halftime lead. ... Burrows gained 7 yards on fourth-and-5 on a long East Bay drive to open the third quarter. ... East Bay failed to cap off the drive with a touchdown when RB DJ Richmond's halfback pass on third-and-goal fell incomplete. ... Spoto DB Jamar Burns intercepted Porter in the fourth quarter for the game's only turnover.
