THE DIFFERENCE: Following a 27-yard overtime field goal by Wesley Chapel's C.J. West, River Ridge QB Kenny Toce threw a 6-yard TD pass to Mike Conran for the win, spoiling Wesley Chapel's homecoming.
GAME NOTES: The Royal Knights overcame an eight-point halftime deficit and a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime. ... River Ridge ran 32 plays in the first half compared to 11 by Wesley Chapel, yet the Wildcats led, 14-6. ... River Ridge ran the ball 56 times for 205 yards. They got 67 yards and a TD on 16 carries from leading rusher Stavros Arianas. ... Hunter Joyer scored on a 53-yard TD run on Wesley Chapel's first play from scrimmage.
