Rashad Leads Knights To Win

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Sha'reff Rashad intercepted two passes to lead Central Florida to a 30-14 win vs. Marshall on Saturday.

Rashad's interceptions led to two 24-yard field goals for the Knights (3-7, 2-4 Conference USA). The second one, coming late in the third quarter, set up the score to give UCF a two-possession lead and help snap a four-game losing streak.

UCF punter Blake Clingan sealed the game in the fourth quarter when he scrambled on fourth-and-4 from his own 30-yard line for a first down.

Darius Marshall had 142 yards on 16 carries for Marshall (4-6, 3-3).

UCF's Brynn Harvey had 33 carries for 150 yards and scored his first career touchdown on a 50-yard run in the fourth quarter.

BETHUNE-COOKMAN 14,

HOWARD 12

DAYTONA BEACH - McKinson Souverain and Corey Council each scored a touchdown to help Bethune-Cookman edge Howard.

The Tigers (8-2, 5-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) won their fourth straight. Souverain ran for 53 yards for one touchdown and Council returned a punt 55 yards to hand the Bison (1-9, 0-7) their six loss in a row.

FLORIDA A&M 45,

HAMPTON 24

TALLAHASSEE - Quarterback Curtis Pulley ran for 132 yards and three touchdowns to lead Florida A&M past Hampton.

Pulley also threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to Isaac West, as the Rattlers (8-3, 4-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored 35 straight points to overcome an early 10-0 deficit.

Philip Sylvester added 92 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Florida A&M. The Rattlers have won five of their past six games, while Hampton (5-5, 4-3) has lost four in a row.

FLORIDA ATLANTIC 40,

LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE 29

FORT LAUDERDALE - Rusty Smith threw four touchdown passes as Florida Atlantic beat Louisiana-Lafayette.

Florida Atlantic (5-5, 3-2 Sun Belt) won its fourth straight game while handing the Ragin' Cajuns (5-5, 4-1) their first conference loss.

Smith was 17-for-26 for 290 yards, and Rob Housler caught two of Smith's touchdown passes and had 65 receiving yards.
