Tampa Woman Charged With Hurling Shovel At Spouse

TAMPA - During an argument with her husband on Sunday morning, Mary C. Harris broke a friend's motor home window and threw a shovel at her husband, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Her husband had a cut left forearm but declined medical treatment, according to a criminal arrest affidavit.
Deputies charged Harris on Sunday afternoon with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Harris, 54, of Tampa, told investigators that she threw the shovel but not at her husband, the affidavit states.
She remained in Orient Road Jail today. No bail had been set.
