TBO.com is looking for people from the Tampa Bay area who will witness this historic event in person. We will choose a group of people to share their stories on TBO before and during the festivities in Washington.

Lawmakers learned Monday how many tickets they'll get for Barack Obama's presidential inauguration Jan. 20:

240,000: Tickets will be issued total.

39,300: Tickets will go to the nation's 100 senators to distribute.

86,130: Tickets will go to the 435 House members.

5,736: Tickets will be available through Florida's two senators and 25 representatives.

BUT ...

28,000+: Tickets have already been requested from Sen. Bill Nelson's office alone.

50,000+: Tickets have been requested from Sen. Mel Martinez's office.

3,700: Tickets have been requested from Rep. Kathy Castor.
