Man Chased Boy With Machete, Report Says

DADE CITY - A 43-year-old man was arrested by Pasco deputies Monday, accused of chasing a 16-year-old boy around with a machete.

Juan Hernandez-Sanchez, of 15126 Manatee Ave., faces charges of aggravated assault and child abuse.
Deputies say Hernandez-Sanchez armed himself with the machete when he and the teen were arguing and the chase began.

Hernandez-Sanchez tried to strike the boy with the machete but missed, an arrest affidavit states.

The boy wasn't injured.

Hernandez-Sanchez is being held without bail at the Land O' Lake Jail.
