TAMPA - The search of a Riverview home Wednesday night led to the seizure of about 400 grams of methamphetamines, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Jose Suazo-Aviles and Maria Arguelles at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday at 12007 Glenshire Drive.
According to a criminal arrest affidavit:
Suazo-Aviles, 62, told deputies he sold the drugs and showed them where the drugs were located. Arguelles, 25, told deputies she sold the drugs but didn't know where they were located.
Prior to their arrests, investigators were watching them.
About 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, Arguelles delivered 28.6 grams of meth to an undercover detective in exchange for $1,200.
On Nov. 13, Suazo-Aviles and Arguelles were involved in the sale of nearly 60 grams of meth to investigators at Big Bend Road and U.S. 301 in exchange for $2,800. And on Nov. 6, Suazo-Aviles delivered nearly 29.8 grams of meth to a deputy at the same location in exchange for $1,200.
Suazo-Aviles was charged with four counts each of trafficking in methamphetamines and conspiracy to traffic methamphetamines. He remained in Orient Road Jail today. No bail had been set.
Arguelles was charged with four counts of trafficking in methamphetamines, three counts of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamines and one count of child neglect. Her arrest affidavit doesn't state exactly why she was charged with child neglect.
She remained in Falkenburg Road Jail today. No bail has been set.
