Narcotics detectives went through a house Wednesday evening and confiscated 13 marijuana plants and three guns after the resident let them in without a search warrant, according to the Clearwater Police Department.
The resident, Benjamin Grissom, 34, was charged with cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after the search at 1749 Great Brikhill Road, said Elizabeth Daly-Watts, spokeswoman for Clearwater's public safety department.
Two of the rooms in the home were equipped to grow marijuana, she said. The three firearms confiscated were a .22-caliber rifle, a .32-caliber pistol and a 9 mm handgun, she said.
