Firefighters Get Control Of Valrico Town Home Blaze

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a three-alarm fire at a Valrico town home complex, according to spokesman Ray Yeakley.

The call to 3611 Pine Knot Drive came in at 11:30 a.m. and went to three alarms, Yeakley said. Crews at the scene found no one inside the town home units. No one has been injured, he says.

Though the fire is not yet out, "we have it under control," he says. "We are not sure how many homes are involved, but it sounds like two or three."

One unit was on fire when the crew arrived, Yeakley said. The fire has since spread to other units.
