ORLANDO - The father of a central Florida woman charged with killing her 3-year-old daughter told investigators she forged her parents' checks, stole from her mother's purse and even took the change from her child's piggy bank.
In a videotaped interview with FBI agents obtained by the Orlando Sentinel and released on the newspaper's Web site today, George Anthony said he and his wife had problems making their house payments because his daughter forged a deposit slip from her mother's account for $4,400 check.
Casey Anthony is awaiting a January trial. Her daughter, Caylee, disappeared in June. Casey Anthony said she left the girl with a baby sitter, who has not been found.
Caylee's grandparents have said their granddaughter is still alive and they will reveal sightings.
