TAMPA - The community will rally Sunday for a child suffering from stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare, aggressive form of cancer in small children.
Nathen Trueblood, 2, the son of Chris Trueblood and Amanda Camp, has a 30 to 40 percent chance of surviving, but family and friends are praying new treatments now coming out will increase those chances by 10 or 20 percent.
His grandmother, friends and family are planning a benefit at the American Legion Post 138, 5535 W. Prescott St., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to help offset his medical expenses.
The event includes live bands, a cash bar, raffles, children's games, a rummage sale and more.
