TALLAHASSEE - Sha Brooks scored 24 points to lead visiting Florida to an upset against No. 22 Florida State.
The Gators (3-1) took their first lead at 6-4 and never trailed again, leading by as many as 16. It was Florida's first win against a top 25 team in its past 15 tries and the first win against a ranked opponent in Florida coach Amanda Butler's four-year career.
The Seminoles (3-1) shot 32 percent from the floor and 22 percent from 3-point range. Despite Florida State having a huge height advantage, the Gators outrebounded the Seminoles 42-35. Florida State had won the previous two meetings with Florida.
