The Bucs Will Win If ...
They can gain some hidden yards. The one thing the Lions have done consistently well this season is cover kicks and punts. They're among the league's best in both areas, but the emergence of return man Clifton Smith has given the Bucs a return game capable of excelling against even the most formidable of foes. If Smith is on today, he'll give the offense a boost and that should result in the Bucs posting a lot of points against a porous defense.
The Lions Will Win If ...
They win the turnover battle. That's really the only way the Lions can win today. The Bucs learned their lesson about coming out fast in their clunker of a victory against Kansas City. They'll be ready for this game and they are by far the more talented team. To win today the Lions have to force the Bucs into multiple giveaways and then take full advantage of those takeaways. Anything else will leave them short on the scoreboard.
