3-Car Crash Cleared From Howard Frankland Bridge

TAMPA - A crash on the eastbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge (Interstate 275 north) is snarling traffic for commuters trying to make it from Pinellas County into Tampa.

The Florida Highway Patrol cleared the scene by 7 a.m., but residual delays are expected to slow traffic.

The three-vehicle wreck blocked two lanes and caused significant traffic backups.

The crash happened about 5:50 a.m.

All three drivers refused medical treatment.
