Alonso – John Moore's squad, which notched the 100th win in program history in Thursday's season opener, returns several experienced wrestlers, led by 2008 state placers Kendall Ivy and Tony Milanes.
Bloomingdale – Two-time state placer Chris Figari and Coral Gables transfer Carlos Montero lead Donny Peek's squad, which is off to a 6-0 start after a sweep at Saturday's six-way dual at Riverview.
Brandon – The Eagles, with seven wrestlers in the lineup who have won state titles, have the potential to be one of the best teams in program history.
Durant – 2008 state qualifiers Alex Hamm and Nick Hadick are among those returning for Dennis Kitko's Cougars, who have consistently been on the of the area's top teams.
Robinson – Tommy Montero's Knights have a solid core returning, led by 2008 state placer Zach Boyer, and the squad could challenge for a district title.
