Gainesville Woman Dies After Hangar Door Falls On Her

GAINESVILLE - Police are investigating the death of a woman who died after a section of airplane hangar door fell on her at Gainesville Regional Airport.
Police and airport officials said 41-year-old Cindy Kilgore was taken to Shands at the University of Florida following the accident, which occurred Monday. She later died.
Kilgore worked as an aircraft lineman at University Air Center, which has a hangar northwest of the airport.
Airport spokeswoman Michelle Danisovszky said Kilgore and another employee had been moving a plane out of a hangar and were closing the hangar doors when a section of the sliding door fell.
