TAMPA - A 31-year-old woman found slain last week will be buried in northern Florida, with visitation in Tampa, a funeral home said Tuesday.
Visitation for Jennifer Denise Johnson will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Morning Glory Funeral Chapel said.
Johnson's funeral is scheduled for Saturday in Jefferson County, funeral home officials said.
Johnson's body was found Nov. 18 in Lakeland.
Johnson's survivors include her 2-year-old daughter, Je'Neiyce.
Johnson was seen arguing with ex-boyfriend Vincent George Brown Jr., 38, at 11 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Apollo Club, then went with Brown to his parents' house in Tampa about 3 a.m. Nov. 15, police said.
Brown is being held without bail at Orient Road Jail. He was sentenced Monday to 13 months in a state prison for violating probation on a cocaine possession charge.
