Highway Patrol Charges Pasco Teacher's Aide With DUI

LAND O’ LAKES - An instructional assistant at Crews Lake Middle School in Shady Hills was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence and failing to report a crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Tiffany Lyn Cadovius, 24, of 11435 Murcott Way, early Wednesday morning on Hilltop Drive. Investigators said Cadovious struck a tree and power line guy wire while driving north on Hilltop Drive and failed to report either collision.

Cadovius called a tow truck to remove her vehicle from the crash scene. The tow truck driver called Florida Highway Patrol. Cadovius failed several roadside sobriety tests, the patrol said.

Cadovius was released from Land O' Lakes Jail on Wednesday.
