Four times this month, Pollard A. Cobb Jr., listed in jail records as a guest services employee at the Florida Aquarium, used a company credit card machine to obtain a forged refund on a prepaid Visa debit card issued in his name, according to a police report.
Cobb, 20, of 3221 Lancaster Lane in Tampa, stole a total of $14,999 this way, according to the report.
He was captured on videotape using the scanning device and was identified by his supervisor, according to the report.
Cobb was arrested shortly after 10 a.m. today and charged with four counts each of grand theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and use of a scanning device to defraud.
He is being held at the Orient Road Jail on $24,000 bail, according to jail records.
