Deputies say when they found Marco Antonio Gonzalez-Ramirez early this morning, he was passed out at the wheel of the vehicle he was driving.
His 5-year-old daughter was sitting in the passenger seat, according to a report.
Gonzalez-Ramirez, 28, had watery eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol when deputies found him shortly before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Blossom and Idlewild avenues, according to the report.
Deputies say they did not have to perform a field sobriety test because Gonzalez-Ramirez was unable to stand up on his own. Tests showed he had a blood alcohol content of .173 and .182, according to the report. Florida law presumes intoxication at .08.
Gonzalez-Ramirez was identified by his Mexican driver's license.
His daughter was turned over to his ex-wife, who is the child's mother, deputies say.
Gonzalez-Ramirez was charged with child neglect, driving under the influence accompanied by a child and no valid driver's license. He is being held at the Orient Road Jail on $2,750 bail.
