Saints WR Lance Moore vs. Bucs CB Ronde Barber
Moore is having a great season, but scouts aren't all that impressed with his skill set. He is not real big or real fast, and he has a tendency to wait on the ball instead of going after it. He is just the kind of player that Barber can take advantage of and make a big play against, because Barber tends to wait for the right moment to jump a route. The Saints threw to Barber's side of the field a lot, and with some success, in the first meeting. They'll probably look to do the same again today. If they do that with Moore as the target, look for a big play from Barber.
Bucs RB Warrick Dunn vs. Saints LB Jonathan Vilma
Dunn figures to get a lot of work in this game, because the Bucs figure to run the ball in an effort to keep the Saints offense off the field. Vilma presents quite a challenge for Dunn, because he is very quick and has great range. Vilma isn't very big, but neither is Dunn. Dunn has a way of slipping through cracks and making himself small in piles, but Vilma does an excellent job of locating ball carriers, lowering his pads and making good tackles. Vilma explodes into his hits, so Dunn will have to be careful with the ball because Vilma could easily cause a costly turnover that could turn the outcome of the game.
