Motorcyclist Dies, Motorist Hurt In Pasco Collision

A 20-year-old New Port Richey man died today when his motorcycle crashed into a car that was turning west onto Trouble Creek Road in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Sean Alfanso Reyes was taken to New Port Richey Community Hospital, where he died, the highway patrol said. The driver of the 2006 Toyota, Philip A. Caruso, 78, of New Port Richey, was taken to North Bay Hospital with serious injuries.
Reyes was speeding west on Trouble Creek Road about 2 p.m., troopers said. Caruso was going north on Weasel Drive and turned into the path of Reyes' motorcycle, investigators said.
The 2005 Honda motorcycle struck the right side of Caruso's car and flipped.
The investigation had not been completed.
