FOODS FROM AROUND THE WORLD: Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2514 E. Hanna Ave., will hold its annual Foods From Around the World at the social hall and grounds on Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. The event, celebrating our ethnic diversity, offers Philippine, Italian, American, Spanish and Vietnamese food. Children can take the rock-climbing water-slide challenge, and adults can play bingo and participate in other activities. Tickets and ticket books will be sold at the door.
FIREPROOF NIGHT: A spiritual formation class based on the movie "Fireproof" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 904 W. Linebaugh Ave.
MEDITATION FOR KIDS: A children's Buddhist meditation class will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Parbawatiya Buddhist Center, 201 6th Ave. S., Safety Harbor.
VENERABLE CHURCH: First United Methodist Church in downtown Tampa celebrates its 162nd anniversary in ministry on Oct. 12 at the 11 a.m. worship service. The new district superintendent, the Rev. Sharon Austin, will be guest speaker at the church, 1001 N. Florida Ave. A covered dish dinner follows the service.
HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR: Gift baskets, home decor, plants and baked goods are for sale at the Keystone United Methodist Church craft fair Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot breakfast and lunch will be available at the fair, 16301 Race Track Road, Odessa.
