THE DIFFERENCE: Lake Weir (4-1) made too many big plays to offset the highest-scoring game in Wiregrass Ranch history.

GAME NOTES: Lake Weir's Kyle Whiteman caught two touchdowns (15, 4) from quarterback Tracy Curry. Whiteman set up the second touchdown with a 74-yard interception return. ... Wiregrass Ranch quarterback James Tringali completed six of 14 passes for 60 yards and two interceptions in the first half. He also threw to Deante Mills for a 17-yard scoring pass. .... Wiregrass Ranch (1-4) had a 59-yard touchdown run by Josh Johnson in the first quarter . ... Wiregrass Ranch pulled within seven points, but Lake Weir's Eddie Williams scored on a 12-yard run. Williams also ran for the conversion to give Lake Weir a 42-27 lead with 4:23 left in the third quarter. . . Wiregrass Ranch's Blake Burch had two interceptions.

STAT OF THE GAME: Josh Johnson ran for 137 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns.
