THE DIFFERENCE: The Bulldogs' battered offensive line had its best game of the season, opening holes for RBs Michael Peterman and Alex Paniagua (a combined 33 carries for 144 yards) and giving QB Tyler Guy time to throw three touchdown passes.
GAME NOTES: Paniagua had three scores as well, two on receptions from Guy. The first TD came on a botched 33-yard field goal attempt. A bad snap forced holder Chris Reaves to lateral to kicker Guy, who found Paniagua for a 16-yard TD. ... The defense for Zephyrhills (2-3) had six sacks (two for Ben Williams) and held Wesley Chapel (2-3) to 147 yards. ... Wildcats FB Hunter Joyer was the top gainer with 93 yards on nine carries, but 48 came on a drive at the end of the first half that ended with a sack by Donterrell Parker. ... Zephyrhills enters its annual rivalry with Pasco next week on a two-game winning streak after losing its first three games. ... The Wildcats were shut out for the first time in at least eight years.
STAT OF THE GAME: The Bulldogs had more offensive touchdowns (four) on Friday than they had in their first four games combined.
