Crash Closes Southbound Lanes of Bruce B. Downs

A head-on collision has snarled traffic on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard between Amberly Drive and Bearss Avenue.
The southbound lanes of Bruce B. Downs are shut down between the two roads. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has opened the northbound lanes of Bruce B. Downs to two-way traffic.
However, the detours are slowing traffic and creating back-ups in both directions.
It is not known how long the southbound lanes of Bruce B. Downs will be closed.
