HOLIDAY - Two teenage girls were arrested Friday by Tarpon Springs police on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault and carjacking almost a week after the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said they participated in an attack on two people in Holiday.
Ashley Cohee, 17, of 3221 Darlington Road, Holiday, was charged with aggravated assault and carjacking. Kiaira Jackson, 15, of 4107 Baiden Drive, Holiday was charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
Deputies said Jackson supplied the handgun that an unnamed male suspect used to threaten the car's driver and another person about 1:45 a.m. Sept. 27.
After the driver turned over the keys, deputies said, Cohee, Jackson and another unnamed suspect drove the car with the two victims inside from southwest Pasco into Pinellas County.
Student Charged After Unusual Brownies Found
ZEPHYRHILLS - A 16-year-old student at Zephyrhills High School was arrested Friday and charged with distributing marijuana on school grounds. The student was found with 10 marijuana-laced brownies in his backpack and told Zephyrhills police on duty at the school that he intended to sell the brownies.

Suspect In Bank Robberies Arrested In Manatee
BRADENTON - A man suspected in several bank robberies in four counties was jailed after a deputy learned where he was staying, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
James Fogarty, 36, was arrested late Friday by a team of deputies that tracked him to 3500 East St. Fogarty, no address listed, is a suspect in bank robberies in Hillsborough, Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee counties, the sheriff's office said. He was being held Saturday at Manatee County Jail on a robbery charge.
