TAMPA - Four accidents created slow going on Interstate 275 South at the start of rush-hour today.
The first, reported at 4:52 a.m., involved a tanker truck that overturned near Bearss Avenue after colliding with car parked on the side of the road.
The accident was cleared by about 6 a.m., but three more wrecks were reported at 6:28, 6:37 and 6:42 a.m. in that area, said Sgt. Steve Gaskins of the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crashes caused long backups just as rush-hour on I-275 was starting.
Gaskins said drivers' rubber-necking might have contributed to the accidents.
No serious injuries were reported, he said.
