Hillsborough Revokes Club Illusions' Liquor License

Club Illusions, a bottle club adjoining a nightclub that caters to swingers, had its liquor license revoked Tuesday.

Hillsborough County deputies requested the revocation. The Hillsborough County Commission unanimously approved the request.

Club Illusions shares an address with Pleasure Palace at 8504 E. Adamo Drive.

"Based on Law enforcement investigations, it is apparent that Illusions has violated and continues to violate State and local law pertaining to alcoholic beverages, nudity, and sex acts," a memorandum from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office states.

"These violations include numerous acts that have occurred on the premises of Illusions and also include the relationship with the adjacent 'sex club' business and the activities occurring therein."
