Pedestrian Hit By SUV In Hudson ID'd As Tampa Man

HUDSON - The Florida Highway Patrol Wednesday identified the man killed while crossing U.S. 19 Saturday night.
Eric James Pedemonti, 42, of Tampa, walked directly into the path of a sport utility vehicle at the Hudson Avenue intersection. He was hit just before 10 p.m. and died an hour and a half later at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where he was airlifted.
The driver of the SUV, Donald Willis, 28, of Odessa, was not injured or charged.
